Current Site Condition
The site was used for mineral extraction in the 1950s and 1960s, and was backfilled between the 1970s and 1990s. Denham landfill does not comply with modern environmental standards for landfills and planning permission for improved remediation and restoration were granted in 2014 to address some of these concerns.
